Bio of Jim Frazier
Mr. Frazier is a CPA and has been accounting manager, controller and CFO for a wide variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, medical, and service companies. He has also been involved in information technology, serving in sales and consulting positions with companies such as Novell. Jim Frazier has directed multiple consulting projects ranging from county governments to large companies to entrepreneurial businesses. He has spent his entire career designing, managing and implementing accounting, database, network, and other complex systems. He is the author of many reports, articles, and whitepapers on "taming technology." His work has appeared in several publications, and his consulting projects and speaking engagements have often been featured in both print and broadcast media. He has been a frequent contributor to Internet forums on business and technology issues. He was executive producer and moderator of EgadsTV, the television show on computers and the Internet. Jim and his better half, Kate, are serious birdwatchers and have traveled all over the country in pursuit of their next birding adventure. Their enjoyment of this passion is told in Jim's after dinner programs on birding. Jim Frazier is a popular speaker to both technical and non-technical audiences about financial management, payroll, sales and use tax, the use of information technology, and birding. Jim has done keynotes and seminars for a variety of service clubs, chambers of commerce, libraries, well-known companies and organizations. For the last few years, he has also been frequently presenting technical workshops for National Seminars Group and Padgett-Thompson. He is a past member of the board of the Batavia Community Chest/United Way, a former president of the DuPage Birding Club, and a member of the National Speakers Association, Toastmasters, and the American Payroll Association.
