Crane Creek, Jay 4th and 5th

On May 4th and 5th, Kate and I went on a trip to Crane Creek, OH and then on to Point Pelee, Ontario.  Crane Creek was a great spot for bird photography - the birds weren't very shy and came pretty close to us.

DSC01793a.jpg (49058 bytes) An American Woodcock was sitting still in the grass right next to the entrance to the boardwalk.  It was almost impossible to see, even from a short distance away.  I put the scope on it and tried this "digi-scoped" shot.  We were at the minimum focus range for the scope.
