Pasco and Spokane, Washington - 3/11/03 to 3/13/03

DSC01068.JPG (28626 bytes) This is the bridge over the Columbia River between Kennewick and Pasco.  Very interesting with some interesting twilight lighting.

DSC01107.JPG (92526 bytes) I drove east of Spokane on I 90 and found myself at Coeur d'Alene and the lake of the same name.  There was a scenic road that I drove down for a few miles.  But since it was getting dark, there didn't seem much point in taking a "scenic route."  But it was pretty.   These pictures were taken just before I got back on the Interstate when there was just a little light left.

By the way, I've now added Mallards to my Idaho list (actually, they're the ONLY bird on my list).  There were some swans, but they weren't close enough to determine if they were Whooper or Tundra Swans.
