Mallard Lake Forest Preserve

Mallard Lake is located near Bloomingdale. In the late fall and winter, this is a frequently studied location for loons, gulls and ducks. In addition, grassland and forest birds can be found in the spring and fall. 

To get to Mallard Lake, which is located near Bloomingdale, take Gary Avenue north from Army Trail. Turn west on Lawrence. This will take you to the entrance to Mallard Lake Forest Preserve.
